COVID-19 Safety and Precautions at NewU Physio.

Please read below to find out what measures we are taking to keep you and our team safe and a few reminders of what to do the day of your appointment.

Safety Measures in accordance with Ministry of Health Guidelines.

  • The front desk is equipped with a sneeze guard.

  • Hand sanitizers are available throughout the clinic.

  • Cleaning and disinfecting guidelines will be followed. (ex. cleaning high traffic areas 2x per day and treatment rooms after each patient interaction using Health Canada approved products.)

  • Our staff will wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) when required and use proper respiratory & hand hygiene.

 

At your Appointment

  • Walk-ins are now accepted!

  • Daily Health Screening for staff members.

  • Masks are strongly recommended for the safety of our patients and staff. 

  • Please note, if you are feeling ill, we REQUIRE you to wear a mask while inside the clinic, for 10 days from the onset of your symptoms.

  • If you have been advised to isolate or have tested positive for COVID-19, please contact the clinic to determine when your next appointment can be scheduled.

  • Point of Care Risk Assessment will be performed upon entry, for the patient as well as any accompanying individual.

  • If the reception staff are not in that day (ex. sick), the clinic door will be locked. Please wait in the vestibule. Your therapist will let you in at the time of your appointment.

  • Please use the hand sanitizers provided by the clinic located at the front counter or wall; upon entry and as you leave the clinic.

Masks are strongly recommended when coming to the clinic for our safety and yours!
